Your next message, in your voice
Click into an empty reply in Discord, Slack, WhatsApp or email and press Ctrl + Shift + H. HunchKey reads the conversation and writes the reply you’d send, the way you write to that person. Tab keeps it. You send it.

Thank you for the update. I will review it and respond by Friday.
Sounds like you, not a chatbot
With People memory on, HunchKey learns from your own messages as you ask. How short you keep things, lowercase or not, the emoji you actually use: learned style notes shape the replies that follow. Pick a tone for each kind of writing, or paste a few samples to give it a head start.
A different voice for each person
Casual with a friend. Clear with a client. As you ask in conversations, HunchKey builds style notes for each person. Review them, correct a relationship, or forget someone in People.
Stuck on what to say?
Leave the reply box empty and press Ctrl + Shift + H. HunchKey uses the conversation it can read to suggest a reply. Tab adds it; you decide when to send.
Your words, spelled your way

Apps you leave out
Exclude any app and HunchKey stays out of it. It never reads password fields.

HunchKey, wherever you work
HunchKey runs natively on Windows and Mac. Use it in the chat you have open, the inbox you keep putting off, and every other text field in between.
Said with love.

“HunchKey has made me a sharper writer, and it catches the typos and slips I used to send without noticing. What I love most is that it works everywhere I write. And I love the animations, the fonts and the whole UI.”

“HunchKey finishes the sentence I’ve already started, in my voice, in whatever app I’m in. It stays out of the way until I ask, and then it’s right there. It’s the tool I never have to think about, and that’s the best compliment I can give it.”
A few good
questions.
How does HunchKey write a reply?
Click into an empty reply box in a chat or email and press Ctrl + Shift + H. With screen context on, HunchKey reads the conversation and suggests a reply, shaped by what it has learned about how you write to that person. Tab inserts it at your cursor and Escape dismisses it. Nothing is ever sent for you. You can change the shortcut in settings.
Which apps does it work in?
Chat and email apps such as Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams, Gmail and Outlook, plus most other apps that expose their text fields to your operating system’s accessibility features: documents, notes, browsers and forms. Compatibility varies by app and field.
Is it only for replies?
No. Start a sentence anywhere and the same shortcut finishes it. Select a draft, or leave the whole field, and press Ctrl + Shift + R to fix it while keeping the words you meant.
Does HunchKey learn how I write?
Yes. With People memory enabled, HunchKey learns style notes from your own messages available when you ask: how brief you are, your punctuation, and how you write to different people. Those notes develop over time and help shape later suggestions. Turn on Learn from what I send to keep writing examples on this computer, or paste samples in Style. Suggestions sent unchanged are excluded from that example bank. You can review, edit or forget learned notes in People and choose a tone for each kind of writing in Style.
Does it need an internet connection?
Yes. Relevant context is sent to HunchKey’s service and its AI provider to generate suggestions. HunchKey is not an offline writing tool.
What do I need to get started?
A Windows computer or a Mac running macOS 12 or later, a HunchKey account, and an internet connection. Setup guides you through the permissions needed to read supported text fields and insert suggestions.
Can I control what it sees?
Yes. You can exclude apps and choose whether to use screen context, recent activity, or copied text. It never reads password fields. Review the controls in the app and the privacy policy for details about context and personalization data.
